Excavator Driver Needs To Know The Excavator Trenching Skills

Trenching is one of the skills that an excavator operator must master. It is not easy to master this skill. In the process of digging trenches, many operators will have problems with different grooves and different depths. So what are the operational skills of trenching?

1. Progressively digging trenches

When starting to dig trenches, start from the surface layer and dig one layer at a time. Don't try to dig it all at once, especially when the trench to be dug is deep. In addition, when digging a trench larger than the width of the bucket, it is necessary to dig both sides and then dig the middle.

2. The route for trenching must be straight

The most important thing about trenching is to follow the principle of straightening. Generally, it will be drawn with lime lines before excavation. The center line of the excavator and the middle of the bucket are aligned with the lime line.

3. Control of the bottom of the ditch

The control of the bottom of the ditch is crucial. At this time, you need to use the techniques of square and leveling. If the trenching is to install a water pipe drain, a certain slope is required at the bottom; if it is a foundation pit, the bottom level is required.

4. Maintain the flatness of the slope on both sides of the ditch

Many novice digging trenches are not well boring, mainly because the principle of tidying is not done, and the detailed operation needs to be further improved. From the beginning of the V-shaped ditch to the end, the slope should maintain the same slope. Of course, the soil and the depth of the ditch are different, and the slope needs to be adjusted accordingly. In addition, the operator must pay attention to the loose soil around the ditch to prevent the soil from falling, and should be cleaned with a bucket in time.

Here are three ways to dig trenches:

1. Shunbian: It refers to a narrow area of the site. Like a clear channel, the bucket only digs along the side track line.

2. Alignment type: Mainly for the excavation of the road culvert trench, it means that the excavator and the ditch side are parked at 90 degrees.

3. Riding and digging: mainly the open area of the site, the excavator is parked in the middle of the trench to be excavated, and the bucket is dug in the middle of the two crawlers.
